In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This matchup will be interesting in that you will have a team that has won multiple games in a row against a team that has been playing much better recently in winning3 of their last 5 matchups. Both the Brewers and Rockies are 2nd place in their division, so, this matchup will certainly be an interesting watch in that both teams will be focused on getting an all-important win. I truly expect a very competitive series amongst these two teams as their play recently suggest that they are totally locked in at his point of the season.
Totals Selection: Under
My reason for the prediction :
With both teams having been playing so well lately, this series could very well be decided on which team has the better pitching staff. While each team’s staff have not been overly outstanding, they have been solid enough to preserve leads, lately. Nonetheless, with the under being the play in 4 of their last 6 matchups, I will side with the under in this game as I see this, as stated, as being a very competitive series and game 2 contest that will be decided on the defensive and pitching end.
