In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This finale will be interesting in that both teams seek a great showing to not only wrap up this series, but, to also take the momentum into the next contest. Again, there is much momentum to be gained for both teams in this Wednesday matchup, and I am sure that both teams will be locked in to take advantage of their opportunities. In all, with both teams coming in playing exceptional at this time, game 3 will certainly be a competitive matchup and an important one as it relates to the AL West division standings.
Totals Selection: Under
My reason for the prediction :
While both teams can certainly put some runs on the board, I see the finale on Wednesday being a defensive battle where the game will be won on the mound. As we know, both teams possess the types of pitching staffs that can really control a game and lock down their opponents. With that being said, with the under being 11-7-1 in last 19 matchups between these two outstanding squads, I will expect runs to be at a minimum in this contest. Nonetheless, as stated, the game will certainly be an interesting watch.
