San Francisco Giants's Latest Performance :
The San Francisco Giants come into this matchup losers of 3 of their last 5 games to where the O/U was 3-1-1. Recently, the Giants lost a 3-game set to the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park on 5-13-2018; However, come out strong in their following series against the Reds and picked up the 3-game home series victory on 5-16-2018. Nonetheless, the Giants came out flat at home against the Colorado Rockies in a 3-game set as they lost both game 1 and game 2 by a combined score of 11-4. Houston Astros's Latest Performance :
The Houston Astros have won 4 of their last 5 games to where the O/U was 1-3-1. Recently, the Astros swept the Oakland A’s in a 3-game road set on 5-9-2018. The Champs also went on to win a 3-game home series versus the Texas Rangers on 5-13-2018 while also winning a 3-game set versus the dangerous Los Angeles Angels on 5-16-2018. In addition, Houston also won a 3-game home series versus the Cleveland Indians on 5-20-2018.

Their pitching staff ranks lowest in MLB stats with an ERA of 2.43 (1st) with 494 strikeouts (1st) along with 36 quality starts (1st).

How San Francisco Giants & Houston Astros Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
For the season, the Houston Astros are 26-22 ATS while the O/U is 15-30-3. On the other hand, the Giants are 28-20 ATS while the O/U is 25-21-2.
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
Here you have two teams that are coming off a set of wins with the Giants winning 2 in a row and the Astros having won 6 of their last 8 contests, overall. Houston has suddenly weathered the storm that resulted from a set of loss recently while the Giants continue to remain competitive despite their inability to score at times combined with their inconsistencies on the mound. This matchup will be interesting in that the Giants desperately need wins in which to gain more confidence while the Astros look to regain their form from earlier in the season to stay atop the AL West.
Against The Spread Selection: Houston Astros
My reason for the pick :
The Giants have been a decent team at AT&T Park (14-10 (ML), however, they have performed less than averaged on the road (10-14 ML). The Astros have played well at home this season having a record of 14-11 ML at Minute Maid Park and having won 4 of their last 5 home games, overall. In all, the Giants showed lots of heart by coming back from a 2-0 series deficit in their last series against the Rockies to tie the 4-game set on last Sunday; However, the Houston Astros are a different team, altogether. I will pick the Astros to once again put the smack down on the inconsistent Giants as they will slowly take advantage of San Francisco’s less than stellar pitching staff to once again pick up the win on Wednesday.
