How Minnesota Twins & Seattle Mariners Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

For the season, the Twins are 26-19 ATS while the O/U is 22-22-1.  On the other hand, the Mariners are 27-21 ATS while the O/U is 27-21.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

This matchup will be interesting in that you have two teams that are on fire as of late and look to continue their hot stretch for yet another game.  The starting pitcher for Seattle is yet to be determined, however, Jake Odorrizi (3-2) will be coming to the mound for the Twins.  Odorizzi has been solid in his past few outings, however, in his career, he has not fared well against many of the heavy hitters within the Mariner lineup.  It will also be interesting to see how the Twins, who have only given up 1 run per game in their last 3 wins, respond to a lineup that has had so much success against the opposing pitcher.

Against The Spread Selection: Seattle Mariners

My reason for the pick :

Coincidentally enough, ever since the Robinson Cano suspension, the Mariners have been playing stellar baseball.  As I stated in earlier articles, this occurrence may have given them a sense of urgency along with something more to play for, altogether.  Seattle has not been overly dominant at SafeCo this year; However, they certainly have tons of momentum at their back to which they will unveil once again on Saturday in game 2.  Expect the Mariners to have another great showing in front of their fans.
