How Texas Rangers & Los Angeles Angels Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

For the season, the Rangers are 26-23 ATS while the O/U is 29-26-4.  On the other hand, the Angels are 27-30 ATS while the O/U is 26-28-3.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

This matchup will be against two teams that are seeking to halt current losing streaks.  On one hand, you have the Angels who, after a dominant season, have found themselves losers of 3 of their last 5 games while the Rangers have lost 10 of their last 18 games and looking for a spark that would allow them to string together some wins in which to become more competitive within the division.  Doug Fister (1-5) will be coming to the mound for the Rangers seeking his 1st win in 10 attempts while Tyler Skaggs (3-4) will take the hill for the Angels looking for a much better performance than his last time out where he pitched 5 innings while allowing 5 runs on 6 hits, 3 walks, 1 homer, and 5 strikeouts in a 9-3 road loss to the Detroit Tigers on 5-28-2018.  Both lineups have had tons of experience and a decent amount of success against both pitchers.  It is for this reason that it will be interesting to see how they both pitchers adjust to the dangerous hitters within the opposing lineup(s).

Against The Spread Selection: Los Angeles Angels

My reason for the pick :

The Angels have had a rough go of it lately, however, they remain one of the most dangerous teams within the MLB.  Texas, on the other hand, are capable of picking up wins here and there, yet, not consistent enough in which to use the confidence and momentum in which to string together wins.  I simply believe that the Angels will certainly come out of their funk very soon.  It would be my thought that they would rather achieve this goal against a struggling, division team that they have had consistent success against in the past.
