How Atlanta Braves & San Diego Padres Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This will be an interesting matchup in that you have two teams that have certainly been able to regroup in which to win some games recently. Needless to say, each team will be looking to extend their stellar play in which to maintain their current division standings or, increasing their overall position. Jordan Lyles (2-1) will be coming to the mound for the Padres on Tuesday and he will look to obtain his 3rd win in 5 attempts. While the pitcher for the Braves have not been determined, their staff has been solid all year long and look to continue their play at the mound.
Against The Spread Selection: Atlanta Braves
My reason for the pick :
Regardless of the Padres being able to pick up some wins recently, it remains a fact that the Braves are indeed the better team in this contest and series, for that matter. Their offense continues to heat up while their pitching staff remains solid against opponents. In all, I see this as a competitive matchup, however, one in which the Braves will battle all obstacles on the road to get a slim, yet, much-needed victory over a surging Padres team.
