Against The Spread Selection: San Francisco Giants
My reason for the pick :
As stated, the Giants are simply playing better baseball at this point in the season than the Marlins. San Francisco had lost 15 of 21 games, yet, have since won 7 of 9 games while threatening the Colorado Rockies for the 3rd spot in the NL West division. With that being said, the focus should certainly be there from the Giants as they certainly have much more to gain from a game 2 win on Tuesday. In all, with the Giants playing inspired baseball at his time, it would be difficult, if not impossible, not to ride the wave alongside them until it appears to be diminishing.
