San Francisco Giants 's Latest Performance :
The San Francisco Giants come into this matchup winners of 3 of their last 5 games to where the O/U was 3-2. Recently, the Giants would come out to play in a 3-game home set versus the Phillies as they would get the sweep on 6-3-2018. The Giants would also take this momentum into their following series as they were able to pick up yet another series win against the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 5-4 win in game 3 on 6-6-2018. After winning game 1 of a 3-game road set versus the surging Washington Nationals, the Giants were bought back to reality with a 7-5 defeat on 6-9-2018. Miami Marlins's Latest Performance :
The Marlins come into this matchup losers of 3 of their last 5 games to there the O/U was 2-3. They recently would be swept by the Arizona D’backs in a 3-game road series on 6-3-2018, but, would attempt to turn things around in winning a 3-game road set at Busch Field versus the St. Louis Cardinals on 67-2018. They would, however, go on to lose a 3-game home set versus the San Diego Padres on 6-10-2018.

How San Francisco Giants & Miami Marlins Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
For the season, the Giants are 37-28 ATS while the O/U is 33-29-3. On the other hand, the Marlins are 31-34 ATS while the O/U is 32-33.
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
In winning 6 of their last 8 games, the Giants are certainly beginning to make some noise in their respective division as they were able to hop over the surging Dodgers in the standings just behind the top ranked Arizona D’backs in the NL West. The Marlins can only hope to get some wins in which to put themselves in a position in which to make noise in their respective division (NL East) while turning their focus to the finale of a 3-game set. The Marlins will send their most consistent pitcher out to the mound on Wednesday in Caleb Smith (5-6) in which to somehow put Miami in the best possible position for a win. On the other hand, the Giants will call on Andrew Suarez (2-4) for game 3 of this series. Suarez has struggled recently winning only 1 start in 6 attempts while being credited for 21 earned runs in his last 6 starts. Smith, on the other hand, is seeking his 4th win in 5 starts while he has only surrendered an average of 2.2 runs per game in his last 5 starts.
Caleb Smith has not had much experience at all facing this Giants lineup, however, he has faced Austin Jackson (0-1) and Evan Longoria (0-1) in the past. Suarez, on the other hand, will be matching up for the first time against the Marlins’ hitters.
Against The Spread Selection: Miami Marlins
My reason for the pick :
For the record, I feel that the Giants are indeed the better team at this point in the season, however, it would be difficult to ignore the way Caleb Smith has been playing recently. While on the mound, he has shown the composure and focus that it takes to really win in the MLB. It is my belief that he will provide yet another solid performance on Wednesday. Again, the Marlins are 5-3 in Smith’s last 8 starts and I expect this trend to continue as the Marlins will sneak past the Giants in game 3 in what will be an amazing game, altogether.
