Boston Red Sox's Latest Performance :
The Red Sox will cap off their 10 game road trip against the Twins as they will be playing them in a 3 game series. The Red Sox have a record of 48-24 they are second in the AL East division 1 game behind the leader Yankees. The Red Sox are 25-13 when playing on the road this season. Coming into this series the Red Sox are 5th best in pitching with a 3.42 ERA and 2nd in batting with 362 runs scored this season. They have a very deep batting rotation nearly every batter on the team can make an immediate impact on the game.
Players to watch in this series:
Mookie Betts, ever since he has been inserted back into the batting line up he is starting to look like the Player he was when he started the season, he should have a major impact in the 3 game series against the Twins. He leads the big leagues in batting average (.346), OPS (1.136) and slugging percentage (.712) while also ranking second in runs scored (55). The Red Sox offense is very dangerous and they just need one player to get going in the game and once they have the lead they are very hard to beat.
Xander Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer. He has homered in back-to-back games, and he has upped his season line to .280/.342/.514 in the process. Not to mention J.D. Martinez is having a great first season with the Red Sox he already has 22 homers with 55 RBIs with 68 games played this season.

Minnesota Twins's Latest Performance :
The Twins are coming off an impressive series win over the Indians. The Twins will be back at Target Field for a 6 game homestand beginning Tuesday. The homestand opens with a three-game series against the Red Sox. With the series win over the Indians, the Twins were able to close the gap in the standings as the Twins are only 4 games back of the top spot in the division. Coming into this series the Twins are 20th in batting with 289 runs scored this season and 19th in pitching with a 4.12 ERA on the season.
Player to watch in this series: Eddie Rosario, he went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, an RBI single, a stolen base and four runs scored. He played an all-around game in his last performance. He’s has been on fire lately, having homered in each of his last two games and doubling in each of his last four. Zooming out to look at his season as a whole, the 26-year-old outfielder owns a sharp .323/.362/.586 triple-slash with 16 home runs, 46 RBI, 50 runs scored and six steals across 266 at-bats.
