Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Kansas City Royals vs Milwaukee Brewers
The Kansas City Royals limp into town to take on the Milwaukee Brewers at the famed Miller Park on Tuesday night to kick-off a two-game series. The last time these two teams clashed back in late April, the Brewers swept the series with ease. Once again, it’s first against last in an NL vs. AL match-up that should produce much of the same result.
On the mound for the Royals in game one is Brad Keller (1-2, 2.63 ERA) vs. Freddy Peralta (2-0, 2.30 ERA) and in game two, Danny Duffy (3-7, 5.18 ERA) takes on Milwaukee’s Brent Suter (8-4, 4.15 ERA).
Kansas City Royals's Latest Performance :
The Royals are more or less a lost cause, unfortunately. They’ve only managed to win twenty-two games to date. Only the Baltimore Orioles have a worse record on all of MLB. That’s telling. Rebuild rebuild and rebuild. That’s all the Royals can focus on. Funny thing is, they managed to drop nine games in a row and then roll into Houston and beat one of the best teams in baseball 1-0 on Friday night. Go figure. It won’t last long, but they should enjoy it while they can.
Milwaukee Brewers's Latest Performance :
The Brewers are holding onto a one-game lead over the surging Cubs in the NL Central race. After a bench-clearing scuffle in the eighth inning against the Cardinals on Friday night, the Brewers are a little fired up.
Jesus Aguilar is developing into Milwaukee’s biggest threat at the plate. He blasted a pair of home runs against the Cards on Friday and is batting .305 with sixteen homers and forty-nine RBI’s. Brewers management is hoping it’s contagious.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:
No matter what, this is a tough match-up all the way around for the Royals. They are outgunned in all aspects of the game. Their late rally against the Astros was impressive, but not sustainable. It would surprise no one if they lost their next nine games.
The Brewers are clinging onto first place by a hair and this series is good timing for them to add a couple more wins to the win column. They just can’t look past the Royals and allow them to repeat the Astro win.
