Los Angeles Angels vs Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox welcome the Los Angeles Angels to the famed Fenway Park for a 3-game series, their second meeting this season. The first time these two teams clashed back in April, the Red Sox made a strong statement by destroying the Angels and sweeping the series scoring twenty-seven runs to three. They have not let up since winning fifty-one games thus far this season.
To kick off the series, Boston will start lefty David Price (8-5, 3.81 ERA) against fellow lefty John Lamb (0-0, 5.40 ERA) in game one, Rick Porcello (9-3, 3.44 ERA) will take on Andrew Heaney (3-5, 3.64 ERA) in game two, and Steven Wright (2-1, 3.38 ERA) will square up against Jamie Barria (5-3, 3.40 ERA) in game three.
Los Angeles Angels's Latest Performance :
The Angels are six back from the second-place Mariners with the Athletics right on their tail in the Western division. They have had a decent season after a solid start going 11-2 out of the gate. Shohei Ohtani wowed MLB fans with his ability to not only pitch, but hit like he belongs in the home run derby. Since, they’ve had their struggles. Picking up the slack has been one of baseball’s best hitters, Mike Trout. He’s having an All-Star caliber season batting .327 with 23 homers and 48 RBI’s.
Boston Red Sox's Latest Performance :
The Boston Red Sox are among the best teams in baseball. Boston’s lead-off slugger Mookie Betts is also among MLB’s elite. He’s leading the league in slugging percentage (.689) and has belted 19 homers, 39 RBI’s and is batting .342. Not too shabby for a team that wins way more than it loses. The offense did, however, take a nap during the Mariners game on Saturday handing Seattle a 7-2 victory. Don’t expect them to give one away against the Angels especially since Mike Trout is coming to town.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This series match-up should be fun to watch when it comes to the batting duel between Trout and Betts. They both should get theirs during the series but look for some dominant pitching from the Red Sox. Game three is looking like the best match-up of the bunch and should be a tight game.
The Sox should dominate like they did in their previous destruction of the Angels and move onto what should be a wild series against the New York Yankees.
