San Francisco Giants 's Latest Performance :
The San Francisco Giants come into this matchup winners of 4 of their last 5 games to where the O/U was 1-4. Recently, the Giants would win a 3-game home set versus the Marlins on 6-20-2018 while also picking up a 4-game home series win versus the San Diego Padres on 6-24-2018. They would also go on to win game 1 of a 3-game set against another division foe in the Colorado Rockies to where they would get the 3-2 victory.

After they would tie a 2-game road set versus the Los Angeles Angels on 6-19-2018, the D’backs would go on to sweep the reeling Pittsburgh Pirates on the road on 6-24-2018. They would go on to tie a 3-game set with the Miami Marlins by picking up a 5-3 win on 6-26-2018.

How San Francisco Giants & Arizona Diamondbacks Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
For the season, the Giants are 43-37 ATS while the O/U is 40-37-3. On the other hand, the Diamondbacks are 44-35 ATS while the O/U is 38-36-5.
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
The starter for the Giants in game 1 has not been announced, however, Patrick Corbin (6-3) will come to the hill for Arizona looking to build from his last outing to where he lasted 7 innings while allowing no runs on only 3 hits and 12 punch outs in a 2-1 road win at the struggling Pittsburgh Pirates on 6-22-2018. In his last outing versus the Giants, Corbin pitched 6.1 innings while allowing a run on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 7 strikeouts in a 3-2 road win on 6-5-2018. Despite his last outstanding outing, Corbin has struggled recently being charged with 17 earned runs on 31 hits in his last 5 games. The under has been the play in 3 of his last 4 games while the D’backs are 4-2 with Corbin on the hill in his last 6 appearances.
Corbin has been met with mixed results when facing the Giants’ lineup as Brandon Crawford (.333 BA on 21 AB), Nick Hundley (.273 BA on 22 AB), Hunter Pence (.480 BA on 25 AB), Buster Posey (.267 BA on 20 AB), and Pablo Sandoval (.313 BA on 16 AB) have feasted on him in the past. On the other hand, Brandon Belt (.217 BA on 23 AB), Gorkys Hernandez (.200 BA o 10 AB), Austin Jackson .1-5), Andrew McCutchen (.125 BA on 8 AB), and Joe Panik (.100 BA on 10 AB) have struggled mightily against the left-hander in their respective careers. The starters for either teams for games 2 and 3 have not been named.
Against The Spread Selection: Picks: Game 1: Arizona Diamondbacks
My reason for the pick :
I will back the Arizona Diamondbacks in game as I really have faith in Corbin at this point in the season, despite how much success the Giants have had against him lately. There could also be a revenge factor here in that the Giants took a 3-game set from the D’backs earlier in the year when they were free-falling. In all, I expect Arizona to continue to play their style of game, hammering opponents offensively early while relying on solid pitching to neutralize the opposing offense over 9 innings. Again, this is why I will take Arizona to show and prove in this contest.
Totals Selection: Games 2 and 3: Under
My reason for the prediction :
I will back the under for the entirety of this series, particularly in game 2 and 3. The D’backs pitching staff has allowed about 3 runs per game in their last 5 while the Giants 13 runs in their last 5. In other words, both pitching staffs are pitching great which means that teams such as these with already inconsistent offenses at times will certainly find it more difficult in which to score. In all, expect this to be a competitive game on Saturday and Sunday thus allowing the under to be the result.
