Blue Jays are 3-7 in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning record.
Against The Spread Selection: Boston Red Sox
My reason for the pick :
The Red Sox are currently on a roll right now and they are very tough to beat at home, the division leader Red Sox will sweep the Blue Jays in four-game series. With this series win, the Red Sox would be able to extend their lead on top of their division. The Blue Jays would have no answer for the Red Sox batters as they want to enter the All-Star break on the right foot and I expect Martinez to be terrific on the plate against the Blue Jays before he plays in the All-Star game. The Red Sox will be able to take care of business at home while the Blue Jays will continue to struggle on the road. At this point of the season, you can clearly see what direction the teams are heading in, the Red Sox the postseason and the Blue Jays rebuilding mode. It will also be interesting to see what these two team does before the trade deadline.
Red Sox to sweep the Blue Jays at home 4-0.
