Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees
The New York Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles in a two-game series at Yankee Stadium beginning Tuesday night. These AL East division rivals meet for the fourth time this season and surprisingly sit 5-5 in head-to-head competition. While the Yankees have proven to be one of the best teams in baseball and the Orioles the worst, that certainly hasn’t stopped either team from competing with the other.
On the mound to kick it all of for the Yankees is Luis Cessa (1-2, 3.10 ERA) against fellow righty Yefry Ramirez (1-3, 3.49 ERA).
Baltimore Orioles's Latest Performance :
The Baltimore Orioles are last. Dead last. What more is there to say. They have lost the most games in MLB at 74 and counting. It would probably be more exciting to discuss the Baltimore Ravens, but football season hasn’t started yet, unfortunately.
Orioles CF Adam Jones is up for trade…if he wants to. That being said, what on earth would stop him? The Orioles need as many new prospects as they can get and Jones doesn’t have any reason to stay. Trade him already!
New York Yankees's Latest Performance :
The New York Yankees trail the Boston Red Sox by 4.5 games and have had trouble keeping pace. They have gone 5-5 in their last ten riding a one-game win streak after a convincing win over the last-place Royals. In an effort to bolster their rotation and keep up with Boston, the Yankees acquired lefty J.A. Happ from the Toronto Blue Jays this week. Happ is having a solid season at 10-6 with a 4.18 ERA in 20 starts. He should add some much-needed help in the bullpen for the Yanks.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:
The Yankees are looking for a young Luis Cessa to bring game one home. It’s not a bad idea given who he’s pitching against and it gives him more experience on the mound. However, the Orioles haven’t backed down to anyone even though they are lacking the talent needed to win more games. They have proven they can beat the Yankees this season and will certainly put up a fight regardless of their record.
