Los Angeles Dodgers's Latest Performance :
The Dodgers will cap off their five-game road trip against the Rockies in a four-game set. The Dodgers are coming off a hard-fought series against the A’s. The Dodgers are a solid team on the road this season they are 31-23 playing away from home. The Dodgers are facing a very tough schedule to start August, however, the silver lining is they could use this tough schedule to prove themselves that they are the reigning NL Champions. Coming into this series the Dodgers are the third best team in pitching with a 3.53 ERA and 7th in batting with 537 runs scored this season. The Dodgers will feel confident heading into Coors field because the Dodgers have their way against teams in the same division.
Player to watch in this series: Cody Bellinger, he has been playing really well for the Dodgers at the start of August. He is starting to get his confidence on the Plate back after striking a grand slam against the Brewers. I expect Cody to have a great batting month in August. He is slashing .241/.328/.459 with 50 RBIs and 18 homers. Bellinger always comes through for the Dodgers when the game is on the line.
- RBIs: Max Kemp (64)
- Homers: Max Muncy (24)
- Batting Average: Matt Kemp (.289)

Game 3: Walker Buehler, he allowed two runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings while striking out eight to pick up a win against the Astros on Sunday. He’s 5-4 with a 3.63 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 79/16 K/BB ratio over 74 1/3 innings he will start on Saturday.
Game 4: Rich Hill, he will close things out for the Dodgers in the rubber game against the Rockies he is 4-4 on the season with a 3.63 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
Colorado Rockies's Latest Performance :
The Rockies will cap off their seven-game homestand against their division rivals the Dodgers in a four-game set. The Rockies trail the Dodgers by two games in the standings. The Rockies are a much better team at home they are 28-24 when playing at home this season. Coming into this series the Rockies are 9th in batting with 529 runs scored this season and 23rd in pitching with a 4.57 ERA. Playing against the Dodgers at home will be the ultimate test for the Rockies because they can really prove to themselves that they are a playoffs team this season.
Player to watch in this series: Nolan Arenado, he went 3-for-5 with a go-ahead solo home run in the 11th inning of the Rockies’ win over the Brewers in on Sunday. He is hitting just .271 (16-for-59) in 15 games since the All-Star break, but he’s homered six times and has 13 RBI. He is slashing .306/.390/.590 with 74 runs scored, 29 home runs and 81 RBI in 105 games. The Rockies will have to rely on him to lead the way against the Dodgers, now it is the time for him to outshine everyone on the pitch and show us what he is capable of doing in big games.
- RBIs: Nolan Arenado (81)
- Homers: Nolan Arenado (29)

How Los Angeles Dodgers & Colorado Rockies Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
Rockies are 12-2 in their last 14 home games vs. a team with a winning record.
Dodgers are 18-6 in their last 24 road games vs. a team with a winning record.
Against The Spread Selection: Los Angeles Dodgers
My reason for the pick :
Even though the Dodgers have a much tougher schedule they still have the talent to pull off a series win on the road against the Rockies. The Rockies only have one superstar to bring them to the finish line while the Dodgers have several batters that can singlehandedly take over the game. All four games in this series should go down to the wire because there is a lot on the line. The Dodgers are coming off a tough series against the A’s so the batters will be able to carry over the quality of baseball that they played from the previous series into this one. The Rockies are a better team after the break but they won’t be able to find a way past the Dodgers.
The Rockies to lose out at home to the Dodgers 3-1.
Betting trends for Los Angeles Dodgers:
- Dodgers are 23-10 in their last 33 road games.
Betting trends for Colorado Rockies:
- Rockies are 16-5 in their last 21 home games.
