Minnesota Twins's Latest Performance :

The Twins will be going on a short two-game road trip where they will take on the White Sox. The Twins are 15 1/2 games behind the A’s for the Wild Card spot. The Twins are committed to rebuilding the team since they have traded Lance Lynn to the Yankees. The Twins are 21-39 when playing on the road this season. Coming into this series the Twins are 22nd in pitching with a 4.46 ERA and 17th in batting with 554 runs scored this season. The Twins will have to wait for next season to turn things around.

Player to watch in this series: Eddie Rosario, he went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a pair of RBI in the Twins’ 5-4 win over the Tigers on Sunday. He has now recorded at least one hit in 10 of his last 11 games. He’s hitting .253 (16-for-63) with three homers and seven RBI in 16 games since August 1. He is doing all he can to keep the Twins games competitive the Twins must provide him with help if they want to take it to the next level. He leads the team in batting average, RBIs, and homers. Probable Pitchers for this series:

Game 1: Jose Berrios, he allowed seven hits and four runs (three earned) over 3 2/3 innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Pirates. He is 11-8 on the year and a 3.75 ERA and 1.13 WHIP will look to rebound on Tuesday against the White Sox.

Game 2: Kyle Gibson, he allowed three runs in seven innings and snared a win against the Tigers on Friday. He has a 7-9 record with a strong 3.51 ERA after 25 starts. He starts in the rubber game on Wednesday.

Chicago White Sox's Latest Performance :

The White Sox will cap off their five-game homestand against the Twins in a two-game set. The White Sox are sitting firmly in fourth place in the AL Central division. The White Sox are 24-39 when playing at home this season. Coming into this series the White Sox are 24th in batting with 505 runs scored this season and 27th in pitching with a 4.92 ERA. It is tough for the White Sox to make any impact late into the season the White Sox are currently in full build since the All-Star break. The White Sox have won four of their five games heading into this series.

Player to watch in this series: Avisail Garcia, he went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in the White Sox’ 7-6 win over the Royals on Sunday. It was a great game for him considering he is hitting .117 (7-for-60) with three homers and six RBI in 17 games since August 1. Perhaps this game will get him going on the plate against the Twins. How Minnesota Twins & Chicago White Sox Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

White Sox are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. a team with a losing record.

Twins are 5-1 in their last 6 overall.

Against The Spread Selection: Series split at 1-1

My reason for the pick :

The series between the Twins and the White Sox will end up in a 1-1 split. Game 1 will go to the Twins as Berrios will outplay Kopech in his MLB debut. Kopech will soon realize that the level of competition compared to the Majors is a lot higher than the Triple-A. Rodon will put up a masterful pitching performance as he will lead the way for the White Sox to win the rubber game at home. This series matchup will be a great opportunity for both teams to play their young players and grow their team as they prepare themselves for next season as we are coming near the end of the season we can see who is going to make the postseason while other teams are just waiting for the season to end.

Twins and White Sox split the series at 1-1.
