Minnesota Vikings's Latest Performance :

Brandon Wilds would score on a 2-yard run for the Jaguars late in the 4th in which to give the Jags a 14-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings on the road on 8-18-2018.  The Minnesota D would allow Jax a total of 20 first downs with 100 yards rushing along with 183 yards passing while also allowing for 2-2 efficiency rate in the red zone in the victory.  Nonetheless, Harrison Smith would obtain an INT in this matchup while the Vikings D would get 6 sacks in the game with 4 being by Ifeandi Odenibu (2), Anthony Harris (1), and Eric Wilson (1).  Odenibu would also have 5 tackles on the night while Wilson (4) and Holten Hill would also have 4 tackles in the loss.

How Seattle Seahawks & Minnesota Vikings Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

While the revamped Seattle defense may be on the road to continuing its dominance in 2018, their offense continues to sputter at times as has been shown during the preseason in averaging only 15 points per game.  The Vikings D, on the other hand, will certainly be looking at this game as a litmus test in maintaining their focus in shutting down inconsistent offenses while allowing their offense time to stay on the field and do its job:  Score points.  With that being said, this should also be a huge gauge for Seattle as well in that the offense certainly needs to step up more.  The problem is that they will find much difficulty doing this against a tough, stingy Minnesota defense.

Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Minnesota Vikings -3.5

My reason for the pick :

With Seattle struggling to score points, I would not pick them to win this matchup, outright.  In fact, I will be backing the Vikings in this matchup to cover the spread as they are playing very good football at a pivotal point in the season.  They are seemingly using this time in which to better develop their talent into what they would like to implement on both sides of the ball during the season.  Thus far, things have really gone well, and I expect them to continue their success against a Seattle team that will certainly come to play, yet, will fall in the end.

Totals Selection: Pick: 40.5

My reason for the prediction :

I will back the under in this contest in hyou have an aggressive Vikings defense that has been playing impressively thus far against a Seattle team that is having trouble moving the ball.  With an average of 15.5 points per game, the Seattle Seahawks are certainly looking to have a much better performance in week 3 in attempting to become more consistent on the offensive side of the ball, however, this will certainly not be easy against Minnesota and a resurgent defense.  Also, while Minnesota has put some points on the board in the first 2 weeks of the preseason (26 ppg), they will also find trouble moving the ball against a prideful Seattle defense that certainly looks to step it up until their offense can get up to speed.
