Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors will welcome the Phoenix Suns to Oracle Arena. Both teams are coming off losses against the Denver Nuggets. Game tips off at 10:30 PM ET.
Phoenix Suns's Latest Performance :
The Suns will be looking to bounce back after their blow out loss against the Nuggets. After a terrific season opener, the Suns were sent back to the drawing board. Devin Booker led the charge once again for Phoenix with 25 points on 5 for 15 shooting. The 21-year old shooting guard is always a big threat, and he has scored a combined 60 points on 50% shooting in two games. Ariza will have to score more than five 5 points for the Suns to even have a chance of beating the Warriors. In their last game, the Suns were unfortunate because Jovik played a perfect game and it would have been hard for anyone to stop him that night. TJ Warren is the X-factor of this Suns team this season he is averaging 16.5 points and two rebounds during the summer he worked on his range, his hard work is starting to translate into games he doesn’t hesitate to shoot threes when he is open anymore.
Player to watch: Deandre Ayton, he will be looking to bounce back after the 5 points effort against the Nuggets. He is your typical big man who can post up and shoot face-up jumpers. The Warriors always have trouble handling skillful big men on the opposing team. Ayton will have the chance to showcase why he was the number one draft pick with everyone watching. I expect the Suns to throw the ball into Ayton and allow him to create for others.
Golden State Warriors's Latest Performance :
The Warriors are coming off their first loss of the season against the Jazz. Despite the loss, Curry still put on a shooting clinic as he dropped 30 points shooting 10-for-16 from the floor including six threes. In the process, Steph passed Paul Pierce for sixth on the all-time list of 3-pointers made (2,144). He’s off to an incredible start this year with 31.0 points and 5.3 threes per game. Kevin Durant is also off to a stellar year averaging 28 points and 8 rebounds. He seems to always play well against the Suns he will be going up against Trevor Ariza. I expect a high scoring game in this one as both teams love to score. The Warriors have to a better job managing their fouls and cut the turnovers. Going up against the Suns the Warriors will have to rely on their transition game as the Suns are slow to get back on fast breaks.
Player to watch: Kevin Durant, he is expected to get to his spots on the court against the Suns, the Suns will have a tough time covering him despite throwing multiple bodies to stop him from going off. He averaged 21 points on 66.7% shooting in three games against the Suns last season.
How Phoenix Suns & Golden State Warriors Matchup.

Warriors are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 Monday games.
Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.
Against The Spread Selection: Golden State Warriors
My reason for the pick :
The Golden State Warriors will bounce back after the loss against the Jazz and take down the Suns at home. After losing their previous game the Warriors will be playing with a chip on their shoulder because they are not expected to lose to anyone with the talent that they have on the roster. Kevin Durant will find his way around Trevor Ariza and score at will. Curry will remain hot from the floor as he contiues his impressive start to the season. For the Suns, Devin Booker will have a great game but him alone won’t get the job done against the Champs. Ayton will have a better performance than his last time out he is not fully healthy because his ankle will still be bothering him.
