Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Indiana Pacers vs San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs will welcome the Pacers to AT&T Center, the Spurs are coming off an overtime victory over the Lakers while the Pacers lost to the Wolves. Game tips off at 8:30 PM ET.
Indiana Pacers 's Latest Performance :
The Pacers are coming off a 10 point loss against the Wolves in their last outing, they had 16 turnovers in their last game something they have to work on moving forward because they can’t afford to make careless mistakes against one of the top teams in the West. Bogdanovic led the team with 20 points which were his season high and hit 8-of-12 from the floor. Despite the loss, it was good to see Bogdan trusting his shots it is still early in the season but as a shooter, you just have to keep shooting despite the outcome of the game. Victor Oladipo didn’t have just the best of games still managed to end the game with 20 points he scored 10 in the first quarter. 15 in the first half, leaving him to score just five in the third and fourth quarters on 2-7 shooting. Overall, he finished 8-23, including a 2-7 night from three-point range and 0-5 in the paint in the second half. It will be a challenge for the Pacers to beat the Spurs if Oladipo has a bad shooting night because he is the heart of this Pacers offense.
San Antonio Spurs's Latest Performance :
The Spurs are coming off a terrific overtime win over the Lakers in their last time out it was a great win for them because they prevented LeBron his first win as a Laker. DeMar DeRozan went off on the Lakers as he scored 32 points with 14 assists (career-high), eight rebounds in 45 minutes of action. After two miss free throws by LeBron, Coach Pop drew up a play for Patty Mills and he did not disappoint he nailed the mid-range and gave the Spurs a much-needed victory. LaMarcus Aldridge had himself a night as he had 37 points, 10 rebounds, five assists. The Spurs are off to a 2-1 start, LMA still has plenty of gas in the tank and DeMar DeRozan is fitting right in, so the Spurs should like their chances of getting back to the playoffs despite some bad luck with injuries. Going up against the Pacers they would have to rely on DeRozan court vision after his 14 assists night it would interesting how he does against the Pacers.
How Indiana Pacers & San Antonio Spurs Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
Spurs are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 home games.
Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
Against The Spread Selection: San Antonio Spurs -2
My reason for the pick :
The Spurs will win back to back games for the first time this season, Demar is starting to look comfortable with his new team and has taken on more ball-handling responsibility because of injuries in San Antonio’s backcourt. It is great to see that the trades are working out for both teams as both of the players prove they are great at what they bring to the table. Rudy Gay remains an X-Factor on the team he had a clutch block and a huge three at the end of the game. If Gay and Demar get it going offensively this team will be very hard to stop. For the Pacers, they will put up a fight but it won’t be enough because the Spurs are playing with full of confidence.
