Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Chicago Bulls vs Charlotte Hornets
A rematch after Wednesday game the Bulls was able to come out with a win in their first meeting of the season. Game tips off at 7:00 PM ET.
Chicago Bulls's Latest Performance :
The Bulls were able to win their first game of the season they will try to go two straight against the Hornets. Zach Lavine has really taken this Bulls franchise on his back in their first four games. He scored 10 of the team’s last 14 points over the final 4:38 including the game-winning free throws. He ended the game with 32 points and a team-best five assists. The Bulls got contributions from Cameron Payne with 21 points and a career-high seven threes he started for the injured Dunn and Jabari Parker with 11 points and nine rebounds and the Bulls shot 48 percent. It was Lavine fourth consecutive game of at least 30 points to start the season, he matched a franchise record held by Michael Jordan what an elite company to be in. The Bulls will try to replicate this performance as they will try to do it all over again for their second straight win.
Charlotte Hornets's Latest Performance :
The Hornets have now lost two straight games they will try to get back into the win column by going up against the Bulls once again for round two but this time the Hornets have home court advantage. Kemba will have to shoot the ball better as he can’t afford to have another 5-for-14 shooting night. Everyone on the team expected Kemba to play well a great player like him can have a bad shooting day as well. He will get another crack at going up against Zach as I expect he should do much better. Monk has gone cold with two games in a row below 34.0% from the field. He can’t rely on Kemba to do all the heavy lifting as he must contribute as well. Playing against the Bulls they must not allow Lavine to go off on their home court. If they are able to do that they have a very good chance of taking one game right back.
How Chicago Bulls & Charlotte Hornets Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
Hornets are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 Friday games.
Bulls are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 games following a straight up win.
Against The Spread Selection: Chicago Bulls
My reason for the pick :
The Bulls will get their second straight win over the Hornets as this game will go down to the wire yet again expect a similar storyline in this game as well Lavine will have another 30 point game. For the Hornets, they can’t seem to get anything going offensively as they will have to rely on Kemba to get the job done but him scoring alone won’t be enough to beat the Bulls at home.
