Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Toronto Raptors vs Phoenix Suns
The Suns have now lost six games in a row as they will play the Raptors on Friday. The Suns are coming off another blowout loss while the Raptors are coming off a win against the Sixers. Game tips off at 10:00 PM ET.
Toronto Raptors's Latest Performance :
The Raptors are still undefeated with Kawhi in their starting line up, he got some great comments from Ben Simmons on what he did defensively in his last game against the Sixers. Kawhi Leonard thrived in his return to the starting lineup on Tuesday, posting 31 points, seven boards, four assists, and four steals in 34 minutes. The Raptors offense just flows a lot smoother with Kawhi in the mix his ability to make shots keeps his defender at bay. He shouldn’t have a problem scoring against the Suns in this game. Jonas Valanciunas scored a season-high 23 points he will get an opportunity to take on rookie Ayton who has been sub-par in these last few games with the Suns. Kyle Lowry continues to play well alongside Kawhi as he dropped yet another double-double scoring 20 points and dishing 12. With the way the Raptors are playing they shouldn’t have a problem against the Suns.
Phoenix Suns 's Latest Performance :
New season the same old Suns, they were first in the conference a week ago now they have lost six straight and now back in the last position. They will be playing against the Raptors who are playing their best basketball this season they got off to a franchise record 6-0. Deandre Ayton scored 13 points with eight rebounds and three turnovers in 31 minutes during a 120-90 loss to the Spurs on Wednesday. It was yet another blowout loss for the Suns something has to change because the way they are playing is clearly not working at all. The only bright spot to come out of the game against the Spurs is that Mikal Bridges scored 16 points (career high) with one rebound, three assists, two steals. He was 6-of-9 from the field and may have been the best wing on the Suns tonight. He has the potential to start over Jackson in the future and play alongside Booker. Jackson continues to struggle with his shot as he only had 4 points he shot 2-for-7 from the floor. He faces a tough task in his next game as he will have to do his best to contain Kawhi.

Against The Spread Selection: Toronto Raptors
My reason for the pick :
The Raptors should be able to win big against the Suns who are struggling mightily defensively losing in blowouts after blowouts and it looks like it won’t be getting better any time soon. Kawhi will do his thing as the Raptors should be able to cruize to another comfortable victory. For the Suns, it looks like it will take them a while for them to pick up another win without Booker on the floor the Suns have no shot.
