Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Houston Rockets vs Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder are hoping to keep their momentum going as they will take on the Rockets who have been struggling to start the season but have won three games in a row. Game tips off at 8:00 PM ET.
Houston Rockets's Latest Performance :
The Rockets are coming off a win against the Pacers they are currently on a three-game winning streak. Leading the way for the Rockets was James Harden as he finished with 28 points, four rebounds, six assists, three steals, a block, five 3-pointers. He came through in the clutch for Houston as he iced the game with a step-back three over Oladipo. He has been back for two games since missing three with his hamstring injury and is averaging 26.5 points, 6.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 5 3-pointers in them. It will be a great duel between Harden and George in this game as this game should go down to the wire. Chris Paul will look to bounce back after scoring in single digits in two games in a row. It seems like his hamstring is still bothering him as he will face a tough challenge if Westbrook suits up. It is great to see the Rockets winning games again after a 1-5 start to the season.
Oklahoma City Thunder's Latest Performance :
The Thunder will look for their seventh straight win of the season against the Rockets. The Thunder are coming off a win against the Cavs. After a rough start to the season, the Thunder are back playing their regular basketball. Russell Westbrook should be making his return against Houston after being ruled out in their previous game against the Cavs. Paul George scored 23 points (6-of-17 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs) with six rebounds, eight assists and four steals he has 3+ steals in five of his nine games this season. He would be the offensive focal point if Russ were to miss games. In the two games Russ missed to start the season, PG totaled 50 shots. His efficiency has been dreadful, but the production has been there. Playing against the Rockets would allow Paul to match up with Harden in this game that should be a great battle between the two all-stars.

Against The Spread Selection: Houston Rockets
My reason for the pick :
This game will be a tough choice to make because we will have to wait and see if Westbrook is good to go in this one. Westbrook is the leader of this team and he is one of the reasons why the Thunder have won seven games in a row. If Russell doesn’t play look for the Rockets to take advantage as it is going to tough for George to carry the scoring load in this game against the Rockets. The Rockets have too many weapons on the offensive end. Go with the Rockets if Westbrook doesn’t play.
