Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Phoenix Suns vs New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans will welcome the Suns to Smoothie King Center as they are coming off a victory against the Bulls while the Suns loss in overtime against the Celtics. Game tips off at 7:00 PM ET.
Phoenix Suns's Latest Performance :
The Suns are the worst team in the West after the loss to the Celtics in overtime after leading most of the way. They started off the game impressive looking to bounce back from their terrible home loss against the Nets but it didn’t end the way they wanted. They had a 15-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter that was a 14-point lead with 3:45 left. They were still up eight with 90 seconds left. Kyrie Irving drilled a three for Boston. Booker took matters into his own hands up three with 35.9 seconds left, but Irving stripped him and the transition break for Boston ended in a Jaylen Brown lay-in to have it at 98-97 Phoenix with 7.3 seconds left and the game was sent into overtime by Morris. The game went downhill from there in overtime and that was all she wrote. The Suns will face a tough challenge as they will be playing against Davis in their next game who will be looking forward to the matchup of taking down the number one pick.
New Orleans Pelicans's Latest Performance :
The Pelicans finally won a game after losing six straight against the Bulls. Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday fronted the charge towards a much-needed win after the team struggled mightily on a long road trip this past week. Holiday almost had a triple-double as he was only one assist shy he end the game with 17 points with 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes. Davis looked like his old self in this game as he dropped a game-high 32 points, adding 15 rebounds, seven assists, four blocks, and a steal. Davis had been recovering from a right elbow injury but noted that some of his road struggles came from overthinking the game as well. The Pelicans will get the opportunity to get back to the .500 mark going up against the Suns. Anthony Davis will be going up against Ayton a matchup that everyone should keep an eye on Saturday.

Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.
Against The Spread Selection: New Orleans Pelicans
My reason for the pick :
The Pelicans should be able to breeze through the Suns in this game as they will have no answer for Anthony Davis down low who is just coming off a 32 points performance. The Pelicans will be looking to keep the momentum going after losing six straight as they look for their second straight win. For the Suns, their defensive struggles will continue against the Pelicans as Ayton will have a tough time covering Davis as the Suns will lose their third game in a row.
