Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Phoenix Suns vs Oklahoma Thunder
The Thunder will welcome the Suns to Chesapeake Energy Arena as they are coming off their first loss since winning seven straight games against the Mavericks while the Suns are coming off a lost against the Pelicans. Game tips off at 8:00 PM ET.
Phoenix Suns 's Latest Performance :
The Suns are coming off yet another blowout loss this time against the Pelicans. They still remain the worst team in the West despite all the talents they have on the roster. T.J. Warren led the Suns with 25 points, Deandre Ayton scored 20 and grabbed 12 rebounds and Devin Booker scored 12 points. The Pelicans dominated on the boards, outrebounding the Suns, 53-37. It is hard for the Suns to win games if their starting center only has six defensive rebound on the night. Ayton is having a hard time matching up with opposing big men he has the offensive skills but he still needs to improve his defense. Devin Booker will look to bounce back against the Thunder after a rough shooting night it won’t be an easy task for him as he will be guarded by George. The Suns will have to keep developing they have the talent although they haven’t figured out a winning strategy.
Oklahoma Thunder 's Latest Performance :
The Thunder seven games winning streak came to an end as they lose to the Mavericks in their last game. The Thunder were without Russell Westbrook in the lineup. Paul George put up a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double to go with three triples, six assists, two steals and five turnovers in a losing effort he shot 8-of-21 from the field as he struggled with his shot all night long. The loss of Westbrook, among other things, continues to expose Raymond Felton as the team’s most glaring weakness right now. He’s simply not getting the job done. He took 12 shots on the night, making only three, was badly outplayed by Barea. Westbrook still remains questionable against the Suns but he might not be needed considering how bad the Suns have started off the season. Steven Adams scored 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting he will get to go up against Rookie Ayton in his next matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

Against The Spread Selection: Oklahoma City Thunder
My reason for the pick :
The Thunder should breeze through the Suns at home in this game. The Thunder are too good of a team to be losing to the Suns after they just went on a seven-game winning streak. Paul George will bounce back and have a huge game at home. Adams will lock down Ayton defensively making it hard for him to score in the post. For the Suns it is a tough time for them at the moment at the start of the season after their first in the season opener it seems like they were going to have a decent season but everything went downhill from there going 1-9 in their last ten games changes must be made if they want to turn their season around.
