Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Charlotte Hornets vs Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder will return home after taking down the Warriors to play the Hornets in Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Hornets are coming off wins against the Celtics and Pacers. Game tips off at 8:00 PM ET.
Charlotte Hornets's Latest Performance :
The Hornets are coming off a win over the Pacers as they have now won two straight. The Hornets were hot from range to start the game as they hit 7-for-9 from three in the first quarter. Leading the way for the Hornets was Jeremy Lamb as he hit five threes and ended the game with 21 points. He has now scored at least 15 points in four straight games, marking the second-longest streak of his career. It is good to see Lamb is starting to fit in after being moved around the league for a very long time. Kemba Walker handed out a season-high 11 assists adding 16 points. Kemba has scored 103 points in two games and his now the league-leading scorer with 29.6 ppg. Dwayne Bacon scored a career-high-tying 18 points hitting 8-of-13 of his shots. All eyes will be on Kemba in this game as he will be going up against Westbrook.
Oklahoma City Thunder's Latest Performance :
The Thunder are rolling they have now won eight of their last ten games as they dominated the Warriors in their last game. Leading the way for the Thunder was Schroder he lit up for a season-high 32 points vs. the Warriors on Wednesday, making 12-of-19 shots with five 3-pointers coming off the bench. He is fitting in very nicely with the Thunder as he could be the player that the Thunder needed all along. Despite having a bad shooting night Westbrook was able to notch his first triple-double of the season with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists, adding two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes. He will look to have a better shooting night as he will be going up against Kemba who has been tearing it up offensively in these last few games. George continued his hot shooting as he dropped 27 points on the Warriors. He has now scored at least 27 points in each of his last four games. Adams took advantage of the Warriors lack of big men in the paint as he finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds including 7 offensive rebound. After the slow start, the Thunder are only a game behind Memphis for the top spot.

Against The Spread Selection: Oklahoma City Thunder
My reason for the pick :
This game will go down to the wire and Westbrook and Walker will trade buckets left and right both will high scoring games. I am picking the Thunder to come out on top in this game. They have too many weapons on offense comparing to Charlotte who relies on Kemba to carry the scoring load. The Thunder are firing on all cylinders as they should take this game at home. For the Hornets, they are building a strong foundation but they need another scorer alongside Kemba when going up against a team like the Thunder.
