Pick, Prediction, & Preview:

Portland Trail Brazers vs Golden State Warriors

The Warriors welcome the Blazers to Oracle Arena as they are trying to avoid losing five straight they are coming off a lost against the Thunder while the Blazers will look to bounce back after being blown out by the Bucks in their last game. Game tips off at 10:30 PM ET.

Portland Trail Brazers's Latest Performance :

The Blazers will look to bounce back after being blown out by the Bucks in their last game. They had no answer for the Greek Freak as he was only an assist shy of a triple-double. The Blazers were dominated from the very beginning as they were outscored in the paint 22-to-2. The Blazers connected on just 9 of their 42 three-point attempts. Al-Farouq Aminu went 0-9, Nik Stauskas went 1-6 and Maurice Harkless went 0-4 from beyond the arc. Portland needs production from its supporting cast on long road trips, and tonight’s dismal outing shows why. Relying on amazing performances from Lillard and McCollum can only get you so far. Damian Lillard and McCollum had 22 points apiece as they will look to take advantage of the Golden State backcourt. I expect both Lillard and McCollum to have a huge scoring performance in Oracle.

Golden State Warriors's Latest Performance :

The Warriors have lost four games in a row for the first time in the Steve Kerr era. They had no answer for the Thunder in the fourth quarter as they allowed the Thunder to score 36 points on them. The Warriors struggled to find offense outside of their two active All-Stars from the very start of the game, with Durant and Thompson combining for 24 of the team’s first 26 points. Kevin Durant finished the game with 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Klay chipped in with 27 points on 10-for-22 shooting. It was his third 20 point game in a row. Quinn Cook made his fourth start of the season (22nd of career), contributing seven points, five rebounds, a team-high six assists, and one steal. He will be going up against Lillard in his next game. It is tough for the Warriors as they only have two scorers on the team with Curry and Green still being out playing against the Blazers at home will be a challenge for them.

Warriors are 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600.

Against The Spread Selection: Portland Trail Blazers

My reason for the pick :

The Blazers will hand the Warriors their 5th straight loss as the Warriors will have no answer for Lillard in this game as he will look send a message to the Warriors that without Curry on the team anyone is capable of beating them. For the Warriors, they will need to find other scorers on the team and they can’t only rely on Klay and Kevin to do all the scoring. Go with the Blazers to win on the road in this game.
