Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors return home to Oracle Arena for their 3rd consecutive home game as they will welcome in the Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup, the opening tip off is at 8:30 PM. The Warriors are enduring a rough patch with drama surronding the locker room while the Kings are still young and devleoping.
Sacramento Kings's Latest Performance :
The Sacramento Kings are still one of the younger teams in the NBA and although they have a winning record they still sit outside the playoff picture in the early Western Conference race. The Sacramento Kings entered the weekend stretch with a nice 2 game win streak after they beat the Utah Jazz on the road. The Kings showed the depth of their team by having 7 different guys touch double-digits in scoring with the leading scorer being 3rd-year pro Willie Cauley-Stein. Cauley-Stein was able to drop 23 points with 7 rebounds which is representative of his season as he has been solid down low for the Kings with 15.4 PPG and 8.6 RPG. The starting PG De’Aaron Fox has been a huge reason behind the Kings success as they 2nd-year pro out of Kentucky averaged 18.2 PPG and a team-high 7.7 APG. Fox had a solid outing against the Jazz as he was able to drop 17 points while contributing 13 assists and 7 rebounds. The other Kings to touch double-digits in points includes Iman Shumpert, Nemanja Bjelica, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Marvin Bagley all had good outings. The Kings will be looking to continue their level of success by having an abundance of scoring and even getting some of their bench guys involved more like Harry Giles, Justin Jackson, and Frank Mason.
Golden State Warriors's Latest Performance :
The Golden State Warriors have not looked like their NBA championship self this season especially as of late as they entered Thanksgiving with a 4 game losing streak. The Warriors dropped a recent home matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder as they got rocked 123-95. To the Warriors defense, they are missing Steph Curry and Draymond Green but they do have 2 other all-stars in Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. Steph Curry is the leading scorer for the Warriors this season as he has contributed 29.5 PPG and 6.1 APG while Draymond Green is their best defender and does a little bit of it all with 6.9 PPG, 7.2 APG, and 7.5 RPG. The Warriors were led by both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson in the loss as they both scored 27 points but outside of them, there was not much production. Kevin Durant was able to drop a double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds which has now extended his season stat line to 27.2 PPG and 7.5 RPG. Damion Lee was the lone Warrior to reach double-digits in points besides Thompson and Durant as 26-year-old dropped 13 points off the bench. Sharpshooter Jonas Jerebko and Shaun Livingston were unable to generate scoring like we have seen this year as they only combined for 2 points.

Against The Spread Selection: Golden State Warriors*
My reason for the pick :
As much as you want to fade the Warriors with their recent drama the losing ways will have to go away eventually and I think this is a game where they can get back on top. The Warriors hope that they can receive the services of Green or Curry back for this game and both look on track to play which will be huge. The Warriors offense runs that much smoother with Curry running the point but even if he is unable to go I still think Durant and Thompson do enough at home to win against a young but talented Kings team. Take the Warriors at home.
