Pick, Prediction, & Preview:

Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Chicago Bulls will visit Fiserv Forum in Milwuakee, Wisconsin,  on Wednesday night to battle the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The Chicago Bulls come into this game  losers of their last three games after a 108 – 107 home loss to the San Antonio Spurs on November 26th. The Bulls defense had no answer for LaMarcus Aldridge, who ended the game with 20 points along with eight rebounds, as he scored 11 of his points in the final period en route to a much-needed win for San Antonio, yet, another devastating loss for the Bulls.

The Milwaukee Bucks are also losers of two of their last three games after they fell by a 110 – 107 score on the road to the red-hot Charlotte Hornets as the home team certainly put in an effective defensive display as they capitalized on 16 turnovers for the outing while Jeremy Lamb and Kemba Walker had 21 points each in the win for Charlotte. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Milwaukee amongst these two teams while the Bulls are winners against the spread in 16 of the last twenty three meetings in Milwaukee, all together.

Chicago Bulls's Latest Performance :

The Chicago Bulls are 2-8 in their last 10 games, overall, while losing 7 of their last eight matchups. As stated, they have struggled on the offensive end lately as they have failed to put up 100 points in two of their last three matchups. On the other hand, the Bulls and their 22nd ranked defense in points allowed per game with 112 per outing, have been solid in allowing teams to put up only 107 points during their current three-game losing streak. Nonetheless, Chicago will look to get back on track versus a Milwaukee Bucks team that is holding opponents to only 43% shooting on a nightly basis.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls in scoring in the last outing with 28 points, eight rebounds, along with seven assists while Ryan Arcidiacono along with Jabari Parker chipped in 22 and 18 points, respectively, in the loss. Lavine has certainly been the on the floor leader for the Bulls this season as he leads the team in points as well as assists with five per game. However, the Bulls certainly need additional offensive production from other role players as well.  The problem is that the squad is very limited at this time, particularly due to the injuries of point guard Khris Dunn, who sprained his MCL earlier in the season and will not be back for the foreseeable future.

Milwaukee Bucks 's Latest Performance :

While the Milwaukee Bucks picked up the loss versus Charlotte in their last matchup, they actually came out on fire as they were 7-9 on 3-point attempts in the first 5 minutes of the game to build a 28-14 lead. Thereafter, the Bucks   went cold for quite some time before rallying in the second half and nearly coming back to get the win; However, Kemba Walker made two free throws with only 7 seconds remaining in the game as the Bucks could not get an effective shot off an inbounds play. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 20 points, 13 rebounds, along with nine assists in a loss while Eric Bledsoe went 4 – 9 from 3-point range while ending with 17 points for the Bucks.

The defense for Milwaukee allowed the Hornets to shoot 46% from the floor for the night along with nailing 13 three-pointers. In all, Milwaukee certainly did not have a great shooting night (41% from field), but, will look to get back on track versus a team in Chicago that has been solid on the defensive end all season long yet has had problems on the offensive end that has prevented them from winning on a consistent basis.

How Chicago Bulls & Milwaukee Bucks Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

Chicago is 9-11 ATS while the OU is 7 – 13
Milwaukee is 11 – 7 – 1 ATS while the OU is 14 – 5

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

The Chicago Bulls will look to lace it up once more in which to face a Milwaukee Bucks squad that likely will be ready to take the floor to atone for a three-point loss on the road to the Charlotte Hornets in their last match up. As stated, the Bucks shot horribly from the field versus the Hornets and simply could not take care of the ball; However, they attempted a rally late in the game that fell short due to Walker’s two free throws. With that being the case, look for Milwaukee to erase the remnants of this game quickly as they look to take on a Bulls team that has struggled lately, particularly on the offensive end.

Against The Spread Selection: Pick:  Milwaukee Bucks

My reason for the pick :

The Bulls are winless in the last 4 games while they are 1-4 ATS during this time. Combine this with the fact that the Bucks will be returning home after licking their wounds versus the Hornets, one will certainly expect the home team to come out on a high note to begin the game as they will be looking to establish themselves on the offensive end, first and foremost. Of course, the Bucks will want to re-establish their defensive prowess in this matchup as well as the Bulls will not have enough in the tank in which to keep up in the end.

Totals Selection: Pick: Over

My reason for the prediction :

Due to the fact that Milwaukee is coming off a loss to the Bucks, I would have to choose the over in this matchup as I believe that the home team will certainly have a solid night on the offensive end versus a Bulls team that, despite playing solid on the defensive end all year long, will be up against a talented and athletic front court for Milwaukee that will certainly be looking to get established early and often. In all, the over will indeed be the strong pick in this matchup as I expect an up pace game throughout.

Betting trends for Chicago Bulls:

  • Under is 7-0 in Bulls last 7 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Under is 5-1 in Bulls last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600.
Under is 5-1 in Bulls last 6 games following a ATS win.

Betting trends for Milwaukee Bucks :

  • Milwaukee Over is 7-0 in Bucks last 7 Wednesday games.
Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss.
Over is 6-1 in Bucks last 7 vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
