Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Utah Jazz vs Miami Heat
The struggling Miami Heat will take on the equally struggling Utah Jazz at the American Airlines Arena on Sunday night in a must-win match-up. The Heat are on a two-game losing streak while the fifth place Jazz is on a one-game win streak. Both teams are in need of key pieces to add to their rosters to help strengthen the team on the offensive side of the ball.
These two teams meet for the first time this season only to face-off again ten days later in Utah. The next time they meet, both teams might have a couple of new additions to their lineup.
Utah Jazz's Latest Performance :
The Utah Jazz have already started to make changes to their lineup with the addition of 3-point threat, Kyle Korver. The Jazz are currently one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league, so Korver’s sharpshooting should help improve that stat. Aside from their offensive woes, their surprisingly average defense has lead to a number of defeats. Thought to be a top three team before the start of the season, the Jazz are a disappointing 10-12 and looking for answers. They may get them sooner than they think.
Miami Heat's Latest Performance :
The Miami Heat need some help. After failing to acquire Jimmy Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves, they still need some star power and are eyeing a possible three-way deal with the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz to acquire superstar point guard, John Wall from the Wizards. The Heat have yet to fill the shoes of Lebron James with a key acquisition and go-to scorer. Wall would provide that option and bring some star power back to South Beach giving them something or someone to build a team around.
