Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets will welcome the Thunder to Pepsi Center as they are coming off a win against the Grizzlies while the Thunder are coming off a loss against the Pelicans. Game tips off at 10:00 PM ET.
Oklahoma City Thunder's Latest Performance :
The Thunder dropped their 9th game of the year against the Pelicans as they are now half a game behind the Nuggets. Russell Westbrook made 8-of-16 from the field for 20 points during a 118-114 loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday, adding six rebounds, two blocks, four steals. Paul George filled it up in a losing effort making 9-of-17 from the field for 25 points with 11 rebounds. Schroder scored 24 points. Steven Adams will look to redeem himself against Jokic after being dominated by Davis in his last game. This game will be a game of matchups as both teams are equally matched.
Denver Nuggets's Latest Performance :
The Nuggets returned to Pepsi Center as they were able to snap a two-game losing streak to remain on top of the Western Conference. Nikola Jokic scored a game-high 27 point his last five games with 20.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 9.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.2 turnovers. The Nuggets are 8-2 over their last 10 games. Monte Morris matched his career-high with 20 points. He was a +14 in the six-point win, adding six rebounds, five assists and one steal with just one turnover. Morris played 16 minutes alongside Jamal Murray. Murray chipped in with 16 points as he will face a tough matchup in his next game going up against Westbrook. For the Nuggets to come out on top at home Jokic must have a great game offensively because that will open things up for the Nuggets guards.

Against The Spread Selection: Denver Nuggets
My reason for the pick :
Go with the Nuggets in this game strictly because they are 10-3 at home this season. Jokic should have a great game against Steven Adams as Westbrook isn’t 100%. Jokic is expected to have a huge game as he will operate down on the low block against Adams which will open up the wing if the Thunder decides to send a double team. Paul George will have a good game but his efforts won’t be enough to overcome the Nuggets at home.
Betting trends for Oklahoma City Thunder:
- Thunder are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
Betting trends for Denver Nuggets:
- Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
