Drexel Dragons's Latest Performance :
The Drexel Dragons have won 3 straight games after dropping the first two games of the season which has the Dragons thinking towards making their first NCAA Tournament since 1996. Drexel won their latest game against Boston University as they blew them out of the water by 19 points. The Dragons were led by freshmen guard Camren Wynter who had the biggest game of his young career by scoring 22 points, dishing out 9 assists, and grabbing 8 rebounds. This game put the freshmen into double-digit scoring on the season as he currently averages 10.8 PPG while adding in 5.4 APG and 5.2 RPG. The Dragons were able to win in blowout fashion because they received production out of multiple guys as everyone in the starting lineup reached 10 points on the game. The Dragons top scorer Trevor John dropped just below his season average of 14 PPG as he dropped 12 points. Sophomore forward James Butler put together a nice game of his own as he dropped 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The Dragons will be looking to get senior guard Troy Harper going as he has only been able to average 8.4 PPG and 2 APG in over 20.2 MPG.
Bowling Green Falcons's Latest Performance :
The Bowling Green Falcons have not made the NCAA Tournament since 1968 and after going 16-16 last season and sitting at 3-3 early on in the 2018 season things don’t look like they will change. The Falcons are coming off a tough road loss against Detroit University as they were beaten pretty good on the road 82-67. The leading scorer for the Falcons in Justin Turner was unable to have as much of impact as we have seen over the course of the season as he only dropped 11 points in over 37 minutes of playing time. The sophomore guard has been the Falcons best player all season as he leads the team with 17 PPG. The Falcons weren’t able to receive another double-double out of senior Demajeo Wiggins but he fell just short as he dropped 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Wiggins has asserted his dominance on the boards early on in the season as he averages a team-high 11.3 RPG while contributing 15 PPG. Reserve guard Daeqwon Plowden had one of the best games of his young career as he dropped 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds which are both above his season averages as he currently sits at 7 PPG and 5.5 RPG.

Against The Spread Selection: Drexel Dragons
My reason for the pick :
These two teams have already gone through a rollar coaster of emotions early on in the season as they have been on the losing end of blowouts and vice versa but I am siding with the hotter team in this matchup as Drexel has rattled off 3 straight wins. The Dragons have put up a ton of points this season while the Falcons have been extremely hit or miss. Nothing seperates these defenses as they both sit in a similar spot but the offense of Drexel is way better. Side with the Dragons.
