Hartford Hawks vs Duke Blue Devils

The #3 Duke Blue Devils welcome the Hartford Hawks to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Wednesday night. The Hartford Hawks are currently on a one-game win streak averaging 71.6 points per game and shooting 41.9% from the floor while the Blue Devils have averaged 94.3 points per game and shooting 50%.

Hartford Hawks's Latest Performance :

They defeated Bowling Green on Saturday night 76-63 after losing to Sacred Heart the previous game. Jason Dunne drained five 3-pointers scoring 19 points to go along with fellow teammate Jason Carroll’s 18 to hold off the Falcons on Saturday afternoon. Hartford shot 41.5% from the field and 29% from 3-point land.

Duke Blue Devils's Latest Performance :

The Duke Blue Devils are, as usual, one of the best teams in college basketball. Losing to Gonzaga earlier in the season was a blow and they have rebounded with impressive back-to-back wins. Their last win was a blowout against the little known Stetson Hatters 119-49 on Saturday night. Freshman RJ Barrett lead the way with 26 points, seven rebounds, and a season-high, seven assists. Zion Williamson didn’t disappoint the Cameron Crazies after he opened the second half with two monster dunks. Duke cruised in this game and are showing they have what it takes to compete for a National Title.

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

Duke vs. Hartford isn’t much of a match-up. The Hawks are outmatched in all of the stats and will have a difficult time keeping Zion Williamson from imposing his will around the rim. Duke should dominate in every aspect of this game on offense and defense. Duke is only allowing an average of 68.1 points per game while averaging 94 points per game. Like the Stetson game, this should be more like a scrimmage for the Blue Devils.
