Pick, Prediction, & Preview:

Louisville Cardinals vs Indiana Hoosiers

The Louisville Cardinals travel to Hoosier country on Saturday afternoon to take on Indiana at Assembly Hall where the ACC meets the Big Ten. That last time these two rivals clashed in 2017, the Cardinals were victorious winning the game 71-62 on their home court. Deng Adel scored 16 points for the Cardinals including a key jumper with 41 seconds remaining to secure the win. These two teams have played a total of 14 games dating back to the 1949-50 season with Lousiville leading the series 8-6 and winning the last four in a row. Indiana is looking to snap that streak and move to 8-2 on the season.

Louisville Cardinals's Latest Performance :

The Louisville Cardinals are having a solid season even after dropping a couple of games back-to-back earlier on the schedule. Their last two games were wins against solid teams in #9 Michigan State and Seton Hall who they defeated  70-65 on Saturday. The resilient Cardinals overcame a second-half nine-point deficit with some tight defense that saw Seton Hall shoot 2 for 21 in the final seven minutes of the game. Louisville eventually went on a nine-point run of their own with Christen Cunningham scoring five of those to put the Cardinals ahead for good.

Indiana Hoosiers's Latest Performance :

The Indiana Hoosiers improved to 2-0 in conference play this week with a 64-62 win over division rival Penn State. It took some tough defense to help overcome some first-half offensive woes shooting 1-11 to start the game. Freshman Romeo Langford provided the offensive spark needed to keep them in the first half by scoring 15 of the teams 34 points. With Penn State grabbing 20 of the games first 32 rebounds, the Hoosiers were going to need to step it up in the second half to remain competitive with Juwan Morgan in foul trouble.

They did just that with better rebounding and all around team defense. They were able to run some clock after slowing Penn State’s transition offense and win the game.
