Virginia Cavaliers's Latest Performance :
The Virginia Cavaliers are one of the top teams in the nation and look like one of the favorites to win the NCAA Championship this season and they have played well since losing to Duke as they have rattled off 2 straight wins in convincing fashion. North Carolina State Wolfpack's Latest Performance :
The North Carolina State Wolfpack have an extremely talented and experienced roster which will make them a dangerous team in the ACC Tournament and they picked up a huge win in their recent game against Clemson as they hit a buzzer beater 3 to win 69-67. NC State comes into this game looking to start up a win streak as they haven’t had a win streak since 1/3. The leading scorer on the season for the Wolfpack has been senior gaurd Torin Dorn as he comes into this game averaging 14.3 PPG but he has also been the leading rebounder with 6.9 RPG. NC State was able to show their depth against Clemson as Dorn was only able to record 9 points and 3 rebounds, and still came out with the win. NC State is not known for their defense by any means as they are 129th in the nation in team defense but they were able to hold Clemson scoreless from behind the 3-point line as they went 0 for 7.

Against The Spread Selection: Virginia Cavaliers
My reason for the pick :
This should be a fun matchup as we have a top 10 scoring offense in NC State trying to break the #1 defense in Virginia and while the Wolfpack will keep this game close on their home court I think the Cavaliers will pull away late for the win. Virginia has the ability to match the NC State depth which has made the Wolfpack so good this season as they receive production from their bench. Virginia will use their zone to force NC State into bad shots and Virginia is a really good rebounding team while NC State is not. Virginia has also shown the ability to score this season while NC State has not been very good on defense. Virginia is a perfect 6-0 ATS on the road this season and I think that streak continues here.
