Pick, Prediction, & Preview:
Georgia Tech Yellowjackets vs South Florida Bulls
The first ever meeting between the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets and the South Florida Bulls will take place in Tampa, Florida, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on 9-8-2018, beginning at noon. The Bulls would have an effective tune up game versus the Phoenix of Elon last Saturday while winning by a 34-14 score to where they would not cash in on the spread as huge favorites (-28) while the under was the play with the total being set at 56.5 points. The Yellowjackets of Georgia Tech would pitch a shutout against Alcorn State at home in opening week as they cruised to a 41-0 score to where they would still lose out on the spread (-43) yet the under would be the play with total points being set at 59.5 for the game. As stated, this will be the first ever matchup amongst these two squads, however, both will certainly be up for the challenge that awaits while South Florida could be looking to set a precedent for the 2018 season by beating an ACC team on his home field.

How Georgia Tech Yellowjackets & South Florida Bulls Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
Georgia Tech is 0-1 ATS while the O/U is 0-1
South Florida is 0-1 ATS while the O/U is 0-1
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This will certainly be a great opportunity for the Bulls to show who they are (or may potentially be) in 2018 by having a great showing against this Georgia Tech team at home in week 2. While everyone knows what the Yellowjackets will come into this matchup looking to do, it would be important to note that the Bulls have some players on the outside that could potentially be game changers on O as well. Of course, the Yellowjackets’ defense would shut down Alcorn State last week, they should expect a bit more talent on the offensive end of the ball this week in South Florida.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Georgia Tech Yellowjackets -3
My reason for the pick :
While I have faith that the Bulls will go on a run at some point this year, I will have to back the road team in this contest because the Bulls would surrender so many yards on the ground to an Elon team in week 1. Of course, Georgia Tech must be licking their chops at this point while reviewing game film consistently showing missed assignments along with miffed tackles along with defensive front while also from within the secondary in the loss. Nonetheless, I will pick the Jackets to take care of business as the Bulls may not have an answer for the triple option attack on Saturday.
Totals Selection: Pick: Over (off)
My reason for the prediction :
We will certainly see how good this Jacket D really is this weekend as they prepare for a potential offensive danger in South Florida that tossed the ball all over the field against Elon. While I have faith that Tech will indeed put up scores throughout this game due to the precision in which they run their offense (along with the Bulls inability to stop the run), I also expect the Bulls to challenge the Tech defense at every turn in which to match the intensity that the Yellowjackets will bring to this game. In all, take the over as I see a high-scoring, back and forth affair in this matchup, at least for a half or so.
