Troy Trojans vs Nebraska Cornhuskers
The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be looking for its first win of the season on Saturday when it hosts the Troy Trojans at 12 pm EST at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The last time these two teams met was on 9-23-2006 as the Cornhuskers would get the 56-0 win as they would cover (-23.5) while the over was the play with totals being set at 48.5 points for the game. The Cornhuskers would have a much more difficult time in week 2 with the Colorado Buffaloes as they would come into Lincoln and get the 33-28 win last Saturday while covering the spread as underdogs (+3) while the under was the play with the total being set at 63.5 points. This will certainly be a must win game for the home team as they certainly do not want to begin conference play on a losing note, especially with a trip to Ann Arbor coming next week.

How Troy Trojans & Nebraska Cornhuskers Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
Nebraska is 0-1 ATS while the O/U is 0-1
Troy is 1-1 ATS while the O/U is 2-0
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
Troy would get into the win column last Saturday and would love to get yet another victory by knocking off the Huskers at home on Saturday. The problem is that the Huskers put themselves in a great position to win last week against the Buffalos only to let the game slip away in the second half. In all, both teams will come in with focus and intensity in this matchup in which to either keep their outstanding play going, or, to pick up their first win of the season. I would expect Nebraska to really play like their season is on the line on Saturday against the Trojans.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Nebraska Cornhuskers -11
My reason for the pick :
I will back Nebraska at home with the points in this matchup as I see them playing well early on in which to obtain a lead while locking down the offense for the Trojans in the meantime. Nebraska, in other words, certainly needs to play well to get a victory in this contest as they really let one get away against Colorado. With that being said, look for them to atone for that loss with a great performance against Troy in week 3.
Totals Selection: Pick: Over 57.5
My reason for the prediction :
I will pick the over in this contest as Martinez and crew will certainly give their all in this matchup on Saturday as a huge game on the road against Michigan will be looming for week 4. Expect them to really take control of the trenches early in which to set the tone. Furthermore, Troy has some threats on the outside in Davis and Willis, so, the Huskers will certainly keep a sharp eye simply to ensure that they do not give their visitors any reason at all to gain any confidence or momentum in this matchup. With that being said, I will back the over in this contest as the home team should really show and prove on Saturday.
