In-Depth Analysis of each team:
Ohio State will certainly be on a high in this game as they would survive the Nittany Lions in their last contest. Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Indiana Hoosiers +25
My reason for the pick :
I will back the Hoosiers in this matchup as the trends suggest that they will certainly perform well once again versus the Buckeyes in Columbus this weekend. Of course, they may not pull out a victory, however, they have really done well ATS while playing this Buckeye team in past years. With that being the case, their defense has held their own thus far in 2018 and while OSU has dominated their competition lately, expect for them to have their second Big Ten challenge of the year in Indiana as the road team will certainly impress in this contest.
Totals Selection: Pick: Over 64.5
My reason for the prediction :
I will back the over in this matchup in that the Hoosiers will find ways to exploit the Buckeyes’ rush defense. In other words, Indiana is putting up 179 yards on the ground per game in 2018 and will certainly look to control the trenches to establish their rushing attack with Stevie Scott (464 yards) early on. This will lead to more opportunities down field in which Ramsey can attack at various points in the game. The Buckeyes, as stated, will be ready to play as well as they rank in the top ten in all major offensive categories expect their rushing attack which averages 211 yards per game for a 33rd rank in the country. In all, they will get some opportunities versus an Indiana defense that is solid yet will surrender scores to a talented and experienced OSU offense.
