Against The Spread Selection: Pick:  Air Force Falcons +9.5

My reason for the pick :

I like the Falcons in this game as they are known to battle in the trenches in which to maintain their edge in the rushing game, as opposed to the Broncos who utilize their speed to get past defenses within their top notch passing attack.  Again, I am very much in favor of a reliable rushing attack as opposed to passing game.  And even though the Falcons are ranked 83rd in the pass defense, they have played very well at home this season and I expect these trends to continue in this contest on Saturday.

Totals Selection: Pick:  Under 58

My reason for the prediction :

The under has been the play in three of the last five games for the Broncos while being the result in three of the last four games for the Falcons.  I expect these trends to continue in Colorado Springs on Saturday as the Falcons will slow this game down enough to allow the under to be the strong play.  Again, Air force knows how potentially dangerous Rypien and this offense can be.  With that being said, look for them to focus even more on ball control in which to keep them off the field and utilize more of their running game.
