How Indianapolis Colts & Cincinnati Bengals Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This will be an interesting matchup on Thursday in that both teams have played decently this preseason and wish to end things on a positive and healthy note before the regular season begins. The Colts hope to have a breakout season after the return of their signal caller while the Bengals look to put behind them the heartbreaking results from their past in which to play with more consistency throughout the season, ultimately, to become one of the teams to beat within conference. With an undefeated record for the preseason, one could say that they are certainly on their way.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -1.5
My reason for the pick :
I will back the Bengals in this matchup as they will certainly be motivated to play their last preseason game at home before beginning the 2018 season on the road with a week 1 showdown versus, the Indianapolis Colts. I have a feeling that teams will not show much of their game plan in week 4 and would choose to utilize the run in which to keep the clock running. Nonetheless, while both teams will certainly compete, expect the Bengals to pull away late and get the slim victory over the Colts on Thursday night.
Totals Selection: Pick: Under
My reason for the prediction :
Despite these teams having their fair share of offensive weapons, both defenses have played very well during the preseason. And while they have allowed teams to put up huge numbers as it relates to total offense, they have limited their overall number of scoring opportunities by stiffening up inside the red zone. The ‘bend don’t break’ philosophy will certainly serve to be the mantra in this matchup in that both defenses are seemingly incorporated this way of thinking. In all, I really do not see many points being scored in this contest as both teams will likely rest their star QB’s while hoping that they can survive the injury bug for another week as the regular season rolls around.
