How Buffalo Bills & Baltimore Ravens Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
This matchup will certainly be a battle of will as the Ravens defense will attempt to keep the inconsistent offense of the Bills on the sideline while Flacco and the Ravens offense will look to exploit the defense for Buffalo. This should be a defensive minded matchup as both teams will be looking to establish themselves on the defensive end initially while allowing their offense to benefit in obtaining some opportunities in which to get some points on the board. Baltimore certainly has the inside tract with a healthy starting QB with much more talent around him.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Baltimore Ravens -7
My reason for the pick :
The Bills received much momentum in their last preseason win. it is for this reason that they will be pumped for their regular season matchup on the road against the Ravens. The problem is that the Ravens will have their playmakers in the lineup in week 1 and will attempt to really try that young defensive unit for the Bills. Of course, I cannot expect the Bills offense to put out much against this Ravens defense, which leads me to back the Ravens as they will wear down the Bills unit over time due to a tough rushing attack along with Flacco and his targets on the outside keeping the offense on the field.
Totals Selection: Pick: Under 41
My reason for the prediction :
I will pick the under in this contest simply due to the fact that the Bills offense, despite their 25 point 4th quarter burst in week 4, has not moved the ball well thus far. In addition to this, the defense is having to carry the load as they are young and active on the defensive front and linebacker positions. The Ravens, on the other hand, are indeed the Ravens and will certainly trot out a tough defense in which to neutralize their opponents. With that being said, I will back the under on Sunday against two primarily defensive-minded teams.
