How Houston Texans & New England Patriots Matchup.
Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
The Patriots will look to kick off yet another season with a week 1 victory; However, the Texans will be focused also on continuing their streak of success from the preseason to keep this game close while also giving themselves a chance to pull this game out late. The Patriots, as the trends point out, have dominated the series lately and while one could say that the Pats will try to establish themselves in the trenches in which to open their passing attack, the Texans will also attempt to disrupt their ability to dominant in this area to make this game much more interesting.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: New England -6.5
My reason for the pick :
The Texans will certainly come to play on Sunday and will, at some point, have some opportunities to score some points against the Patriots. Nonetheless, Tom Brady will have full access to his playmakers for the Patriots and will certainly take advantage of this. Houston’s offense (nor defense) will not be able to keep up in the end as New England will once again, start the season victorious.
Totals Selection: Pick: Over 51
My reason for the prediction :
I happen to expect the over to be the play in this matchup. The Pats defense will come to play right along with that of the Texans, however, the over always seems to be the play with these two squads despite what type of defense each team may have. Also, with Tom Brady looking for a great performance to begin the season, one must expect this game to get out of hand at some point. Houston will battle and score some points as well, thus making the over the result in what will be an interesting AFC matchup on Sunday.
