The last time the teams met was on October 4, 2015 as the Bengals picked up the 36-21 home win as Andy Dalton threw for 324 yards while the rushing attack had 124 yards on the day while putting in four rushing touchdowns in the win.
Cincinnati Bengals's Latest Performance :
The Bengals were stunned at home by the Steelers in week six as they allowed two James Conner rushing touchdowns in the second period to tie the game at 14 all at the half. Thanks to two Chris Boswell field goals in the second half along with a Ben Roethlisberger touchdown pass to Antonio Brown to put the Steelers up for good with only :10 seconds remaining, the road team was able to pull out a division win while the Bengals picked up the huge, and somewhat unexpected loss. Andy Dalton passed for only 229 yards along with two touchdown tosses while the rushing attack only gained 62 yards on the day with Joe Mixon having 64 yards and a score. AJ Green had 85 yards on seven catches, yet Tyler Boyd had two touchdowns in the contest on seven catches for 62 yards total. Cincy went three for three inside the red zone while also getting 128 return yards from their special teams, yet suffered the loss due to not only three huge sacks by the Pittsburgh defense, but, due to the Steelers rushing for 112 yards while Roethlisberger passing for 369 yards and a score. James Conner ended the game with 11 yards total with two scores on 19 rushes as the Steelers offense went two for four inside the red zone while holding the football for over 36 minutes for the game. Cincy has a long list of defensive players that are uncertain to play in this matchup including Vontez Burfect, who played in this first game since serving suspension, is day to day with a shoulder injury while safety Shawn Williams is also day to day due to a concussion.
Kansas City Chiefs's Latest Performance :
Pat Mahomes threw four touchdown passes for the Chiefs in their road loss to the Patriots on Sunday as he hooked up with Tyreek Hill three times for scores while Kareem Hunt also had a touchdown pass in the game for an offense that collected a total of 352 yards in the air. The rushing attack was not nearly as potent, yet garnered 94 yards for the game with Hunt having 80 yards on ten carries. The Chiefs would only hold the ball for a total of 23 minutes in the game while going two for five inside the red zone in addition to having 18 first downs, however, their defense kept them in the game by collecting two sacks while recovering a fumble. Tom Brady had 340 yards on the day with a touchdown pass, however, Rob Gronkowski led the way for the receiving corps with 97 yards on three catches. Kicker Harrison Butker also chipped in four huge field goals that would also keep the game in reach for the Chiefs throughout.
How Cincinnati Bengals & Kansas City Chiefs Matchup.

Cincinnati is 4-2 ATS while the OU is 4-2
Kansas City is 6-0 ATS while the OU is 4-2
In-Depth Analysis of each team:
Both teams will be looking to regroup in this contest at Arrowhead on Sunday. Furthermore, it will be interesting to see how the Chiefs respond to their first loss of the season along with how the Bengals respond to being whipped at home by their division rivals last Sunday. In all, the Chiefs played well enough to win versus the Patriots while the Bengals, minus a couple hiccups on defense, also played well enough to win versus the Steelers. With that being said, I expect both teams to come out refocused on the task at hand while performing solidly on both sides of the ball. The Chiefs will certainly be at an advantage if the defense for the Bengals are missing their starting linebacker and safety in this game.
Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Kansas City Chiefs -5.5
My reason for the pick :
I will back the Chiefs in this matchup as they will be looking to quickly wipe their slate clean, so to speak, in getting over their loss versus the Patriots as soon as possible. And while it may not be very easy versus an offensive team such as the Bengals, they will certainly get the job done behind the play of Mahomes along with his playmakers on offense. As stated, Burfect and Williams may not suit up for this matchup which gives the Chiefs a huge advantage on offense that I believe they will exploit as the Bengals are not a very good defense to begin with as they are allowing 26 points per game along with being ranked 29th in the league in total yards allowed with 409 per outing.
Totals Selection: Pick: Over 58.5
My reason for the prediction :
While this line is certainly high, one must consider how horrible these defenses have been this season. While the Chiefs are averaging 36 points per game, their defense is allowing 29 points per contest while the Bengals, who are currently putting up 29 points per outing, are giving up 26 points to their opponents every week. Combine this with the fact that the over has been the play in four of the last six games for the Bengals while also being the result in four of the last six games for the Chiefs, I see the over as being the play for two struggling defenses that should be very lucky that they have such high scoring offense to play alongside.
