Pick, Prediction, & Preview:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to AT&T Stadium in Irving, Texas, to battle the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The Cowboys have played well lately yet suffered a heartbreaking loss on the road versus the Indianapolis Colts in their last matchup as Dak Prescott was sacked 3  times while throwing an interception in addition to the Cowboys fumbling once in the matchup en route to the deflating loss. On the other hand, the defense for the Cowboys allowed the Colts to put up 178 yards on the ground with Marlon Mack having two touchdowns during the contest.

On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are losers of their last two games as they suffered a road loss to the Baltimore Ravens in their last outing as a Peyton Barber touchdown  was the only score of the night to which the Buccaneers could muster as Jameis Winston threw an interception along with ending with just 157 yards in the contest. The under has been the play in the last four meetings amongst these two teams while it has also been the result in for the last five meetings of these two teams at AT&T Stadium as well.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers's Latest Performance :

In their last two outings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have only averaged 13 points per game. In their last outing versus the Baltimore Ravens, the Buccaneers only put 12 points on the board while ending the game with a total of 240 yards  as the rushing attack was only able to muster 85 yards on the day with Peyton Barber leading the attack with 85 yards on 18 carries, as stated. On the other hand, Jameis Winston threw for only 157 yards along with an interception as Mike Evans certainly had an outstanding game in putting up 121 receiving yards on only four catches in the loss for the Bucs.

On the other hand, their defense was shredded by the Ravens as they rushed for 242 yards on the ground with Gus Edwards leading the way with  101 yards along with a touchdown. Lamar Jackson, on the other hand, threw for 131 yards in the games along with a touchdown while also rushing for 95 yards on 18 attempts. Finally, Willie Snead IV was targeted six times while ending the game with four catches along with 58 yards for the Ravens as they continue to be in the hunt to overtake the Pittsburgh Steelers for first place within the AFC North Division.

Nonetheless, the Buccaneers season has been essentially over for quite some time. They are, however, looking to end the season on a strong note, beginning with a huge win over the Dallas Cowboys. However, with their offense struggling as this point in the season, look for an angry Dallas Cowboys defense to have a much better showing than in their last outing versus Luck and the Colts.

Dallas Cowboys's Latest Performance :

Despite their five-game winning streak, the Dallas offense had struggled throughout this time as they were only averaging 24 points during their streak while the defense was allowing opponents to average just 16 points per game. Nonetheless, in their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, the Dallas Cowboys ran into a Colts team that totally neutralized them throughout the game as Prescott only went 24-39 for the game with  206 yards along with an interception as Dallas turned the ball over two times. Ezekiel Elliott ended the game with 87 yards rushing on 18 attempts yet would not get a score in his third straight outing.  Amari Cooper only had 45 yards on four catches as the Dallas Cowboys would go 0-2 inside the red zone while holding the ball for only 28 minutes for the game.

Defensively, the Dallas Cowboys were shredded on the ground by the Colts as Marlon Mack rushed for 139 yards along with two touchdowns, as stated, while TY Hilton led the receiving corps with 85 yards on the night as the Colts went 2-3 inside the red zone while Andrew Luck threw for 192 passing yards in the victory.

With Philadelphia’s win over the Rams in the last outing, the Cowboys continue to remain in the first place slot within the NFC East Division;  However, they are only one game ahead of the Eagles and will certainly need to get a win in this contest versus a struggling Tampa Bay team in which to keep their hopes of winning the division alive. They may indeed have success as Tampa Bay has not only failed to stop team from scoring in 2018, but, there offense has grinded to a halt lately as well.

How Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Dallas Cowboys Matchup.

Vegas Odds, Offshore Odds, & Odds ATS:

Tampa Bay is 6 – 7 – 1 ATs while the OU is  8 – 6

Dallas is 8 – 6 ATS while the OU is  6 – 8

In-Depth Analysis of each team:

This will be a exciting match-up amongst these two teams as the Dallas Cowboys will somehow look to right the ship after a disastrous outing on the road versus the Colts in which to pick up the victory at home, to where they are winners of six of their last seven, overall. On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which have lost their last six road games, total, will go into AT&T Stadium in which to attempt to pick up a victory after a rough patch of games to where their offense has certainly struggled. In all, look for both teams to come up focused in this matchup as one will certainly witness a competitive and, possibly, low-scoring contest.

Against The Spread Selection: Pick: Dallas Cowboys - 7

My reason for the pick :

I will back the Cowboys and the points in this matchup as Tampa Bay has simply played too inconsistent on both sides of the ball in which to pick up a victory over a Dallas Cowboys team that will be looking to finish the season on a strong note in which to  not only win the NFC East Division, but, to also have momentum and confidence going into the playoffs. With that being the case, look for the home team to atone for a dismal loss vs Indianapolis in their last outing by picking up a convincing victory over a horrible Tampa Bay squad on Sunday afternoon.

Totals Selection: Pick:   Under 46.5

My reason for the prediction :

The Dallas Cowboys have scored 30 points or more in only two games this year. With that being the case, the under has been the play in four the last five games, overall, for the Cowboys. It is for this reason that the under will indeed be the strong play in this matchup as Dallas will certainly dominate and neutralize an offense for Tampa Bay that has been very inconsistent, as of late, while also scoring just enough points in which to cover and pick up a much-needed victory in this matchup.
